Blue Mountains Safari Camp offers you the opportunity to combine your unique Blue Mountains adventures, 4WD tours and hiking trips with a comfortable camping experience. All tents are set up for you, there is plenty of firewood, an on-site composting eco-toilet, gas barbeque and covered dining area.

Three options of stay are available. Fully catered, solo or twin share; food supplied and you cook and clean, solo or twin share; self-catered, solo or twin share. Up to you. Bookings essential.

The location is a 3.5 hour hike from Katoomba, or a scenic 45 minute road trip. The last 1km involves either a walk into the camp, or 4WD access. That's why we guarantee it is quiet and peaceful.

Testimonials
Hi Craig,

I wanted to write to you, just to say thank you for such a special time in the Blue Mountains.

To cap off our tours, we drove down the most beautiful road to your campsite. It was a beautiful evening and it was so exciting to think we would sleep with the kangaroos, woo! The meal was wonderful, thank you so much for that, just what we needed after a day of excitement, but also wonderfully sophisticated. The tents were very comfortable (it was more like glamping, something like glamorous camping). I loved sitting by the fire, the wild weather coming for a short period, the late chatting, the early rise and all the wild fauna you managed to conjure up for us. Thank you so much for sharing your place and your time so beautifully with us. It made me think I did not want to leave Australia any more....

Dear Craig

I see in the web site the photo of our camping site and also our activity by the fire ... If you remember we are there at December 5th 2011 and my name is Palupi from Surabaya Indonesia, we chat a little by the grill machine to prepare breakfast. It is wonderful experience for me to walk to the camp site with also seeing birds and wilderness... even I almost dont gym and I weigh 90 kgs ... I can make the walk 10 km because most part of the walk is walk down. I am enjoying it very much.
About the food ... The smell of eucaliptus wood in the pumpkin and sweet potato grill from the fire makes it tasty very tasty... mmmm yummy and also rice that provided ... suitable for my stomach. Its good also to have meet the Aborigine man which is my curious about them since I am not australian .... so I can tell about them to my daughter ..
Once more thanks again.

Regards,
Palupi
